Your data, explained plainly.
This Privacy Policy describes how TMR collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the TMR web app, paid subscriptions, reminders, AI tools, and optional integrations.
1. Information TMR collects
TMR collects information you provide directly, information created through your use of the app, and limited technical information needed to run the service.
- Account information such as username, hashed password, plan tier, and session records.
- Content you create in the app, including todos, reminders, schedules, notes, note categories, and related timestamps.
- Billing metadata needed to manage Premium access, such as Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, checkout session IDs, price IDs, and subscription status. TMR does not store full payment card numbers.
- Integration data when you choose to connect features such as Google Calendar, including OAuth tokens and calendar sync metadata needed to provide that feature.
- Push notification subscription details and device/browser delivery metadata if you enable notifications.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser type, app logs, and request metadata used for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and reliability.
2. How TMR uses information
- To create and maintain your account and keep your data tied to the correct user session.
- To deliver core app features such as reminders, schedules, notes, calendar sync, and subscription access.
- To process billing, verify payment status, prevent fraud, and enforce free or Premium limits.
- To send notifications you request and manage notification delivery.
- To monitor service health, investigate errors, and protect the service against abuse or unauthorized access.
- To improve product features and understand aggregate usage trends.
3. AI features and third-party processing
If you use AI-powered features such as Meibot or notes assistance, the content you submit to those features may be sent to configured third-party AI providers so they can generate a response. Depending on the deployment and enabled configuration, those providers may include Groq, OpenAI, or similar model providers used by TMR.
You should avoid submitting highly sensitive personal, medical, financial, or confidential material to AI features unless you are comfortable with that processing. AI-generated content may be inaccurate and should be reviewed by you before relying on it.
4. Billing and payment providers
Premium purchases are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles payment card details and payment authorization on its own checkout and billing systems. TMR receives limited billing and subscription information from Stripe so it can activate, maintain, downgrade, or cancel Premium access for the correct TMR account.
5. Google Calendar and connected services
If you connect Google Calendar, TMR stores the tokens and metadata required to sync calendars on your behalf. That information is used only to provide the calendar connection and related sync operations you request. Disconnecting the integration stops future sync activity, though previously synced data may remain in your account until you delete it.
6. Sharing of information
TMR does not sell your personal information. Information is shared only as needed to run the service, including with hosting providers, infrastructure providers, Stripe for billing, Google for calendar connectivity, and configured AI providers when you use AI features. Information may also be disclosed if required by law or to protect the security, rights, or property of TMR, its users, or others.
7. Cookies, sessions, and local storage
TMR uses cookies and similar storage technologies to keep you signed in, remember user-scoped settings, persist local UI preferences, and support security and reliability. If you block required cookies or storage, some parts of the app may not work correctly.
8. Data retention
TMR keeps account data, content, billing linkage, and logs for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. Some backups, logs, and billing records may persist for a limited period even after account deletion or downgrade.
9. Your choices and rights
You can edit or delete much of your content inside the app. You can disconnect Google Calendar, manage notification permissions from your device or browser, and cancel Premium through Stripe or the billing method provided for your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal information.
10. Security
TMR uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect account and service data. No online system is completely secure, and TMR cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
TMR is not intended for children under 13, and the service should not be used by anyone who is not legally permitted to do so under applicable law.
12. Changes to this policy
TMR may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes are made, TMR may update the effective date and provide notice inside the app or through another reasonable method.
